CHANGES

The first blog was from an email I sent everyone when we first arrived in September. I am just now getting around to making a blog so some things have changed.

CHANGING WEATHER
We've been through a gorgeous autumn. Our trees were all different colors and blanketed the lawn with God's confetti. What a change from Florida! Now it's cold and we've been hearing rumors of snow to come for days --with no results. But we keep hoping.

CHANGING VISITS
We've had lots of fun visitors since moving here. Willie & Lori, Rick & Debbie, Mare & Frank, Priscilla, Aaron & Stacy, Micah & Alissa with Jak & Annikka, Keturah, Rachel with Alanis, Trinity & Connith, our friends, the Welshes from Florida, and all my kids and their extended families. We're expecting Jess & Mary Lou soon and we're loving having room for everyone! If I left anyone out it was not intentional so don't be hurt just come again.

CHANGING JOB
I was able to work for Willie and Lori only a couple of weeks. It takes the FBI several months to process a state to state clearance for child care so I had to get a full time job at the local nursing home. Turns out it was just the right fit. Close to home, manageable work schedule with BSF, my Hebrew class and a $1500 sign-on bonus!

CHANGING FINANCES
We sold our mobile home, which helped with Christmas for so many and in the new year Joel plans to begin putting in a more accessible bathroom for Mama.

CHANGING CHURCH
We joined Hilltop Bible church last Sunday and Julie, Paul and Michael have also been attending regularly. We miss Circle Community Church, and all our old friends, but have renewed old friendships and we're making new ones.

CHANGING PET
We are still very happy here and Bobby the cat is growing like a weed. Not quite as afraid of us, but still easily spooked by others.

UNCHANGING GOD
He is so gracious and His plans are so --just the right fit!

Hi, Marie!
What a JOY to hear from you and to see all of these wonderful pictures! I LOVE Serendipity! It just says HOME from the inside out!! You and your mom both look as beautiful as ever! I am so happy for you! To be around family and friends is the best!! I am loving watching my now 8 month old grandbaby, Gabby. I have off on Tuesdays so I can go to BSF which is wonderful. I try to help out as much as possible with the kids program and connect with my old friends. I do miss you and think of you always when I open my bible which still has the beautiful bookmark from you! I am so blessed to have taught with you and to learn from your wisdom. If you are ever in Orlando, please come for lunch. Please keep in touch! And 2 more things..I loved the tea party with your great grandkids and I can tell you are staying up way too late...still! :)
Love,
Pat
