Time and Eternity

Today my big thing was picking out floor tile for my bathroom remodel. Yesterday my friend was in a car accident and unexpectedly found herself in Heaven. Today we went to my brother's and handed out late Christmas gifts to his 20 kids. Today my friend's children are trying to absorb what it means to live on earth without their mother. Today I picked up pictures from WalMart that I had in my camera from a family reunion since August and in the store since before Christmas. Today Shelley saw Jesus face to face. Today I have a cold that I am doctoring with Vitamin C, Zinc and Tylenol. Today my friend is absolutely forever whole! This very moment is the only time where we actually touch eternity. Each day may bring a life defining moment in the midst of our mundane activities. And we are not in control!!!!! How comforting, how secure, how solid to know the One Who is in control and will walk with us through these times.
